MAMANO (Coataro Co., Ltd./Representative Director: Kotaro Ezawa / Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo), a fair trade chocolate shop specializing in alibaka cacao, has made a bonbon chocolate "King of the Land of Fire" using plenty of Rihei chestnuts from Kumamoto prefecture in 2014. It will be on sale from September 21, 2014 (Sun).
■ Autumn bonbon chocolate with plenty of Rihei chestnuts from Kumamoto prefecture
Rihei chestnuts are cultivated in the Kuma region of Kumamoto prefecture. Rihei chestnut is a rare variety whose production is decreasing year by year because it is large and has a very strong sweetness and is difficult to cultivate.
By combining the ultra-rare species Aliba cacao from Ecuador and the rare species Rihei chestnut from Kumamoto prefecture, you can feel the sweetness of chestnuts that has never been seen before, while feeling the original gorgeous scent of Ariba chocolate and the pleasant bitterness. Finished in a bonbon chocolate.
In addition, some of the outside of the coating is covered with sesame seeds for depth. From the scent of sesame in the first bite, you can enjoy the rich sweetness of Rihei chestnut and the mellow scent of Ariba that you feel at the end. The price is 257 yen (tax included) per grain.
■ Release commemoration: From September 21st (Sun) to September 27th (Sat), it will be offered for a limited time at 150 yen per grain.
For a limited time, we will offer one grain for 150 yen (tax included). Sales start from 1 grain, and you can use it as a gift by putting it in a separate BOX (4 pieces / 6 pieces / 8 pieces / 10 pieces box).
