エクアドルアマゾンの在来種「ジャングルピーナッツ」をキャラメリゼして、アリバカカオのミルクチョコレートをたっぷりとまとわせたチョコレート。
ピーナッツを直火で香ばしさが出るまでキャラメリゼし、バターも加え奥行きのあるコク深さのある味わいに。アリバカカオ49%のミルクチョコレートをたっぷりとまとわせて、カリカリ食感と上品な甘みにマカンボの香りが広がる、手が止まらなくなってしまうお菓子です。
『ジャングルピーナッツ』は、先住民のキチュア族、シュアール族、アシュアル族が育てる在来種の希少なナッツで、カカオ栽培前に植えることで土が豊かになります。チョコがけの中を見ることはできませんが、ピーナッツは鮮やかな紫の縞模様が特徴です。
ママノでは、カカオ栽培前にピーナッツの植樹を支援することで、土を豊かにしたり農家の副収入となるよう支援をしています。
