カカオの兄弟「マカンボ」をキャラメリゼして、アリバカカオのミルクチョコレートをたっぷりとまとわせたチョコレート。
マカンボを直火で香ばしさが出るまでキャラメリゼし、バターも加え奥行きのあるコク深さのある味わいに。アリバカカオ49%のミルクチョコレートをたっぷりとまとわせて、カリカリ食感と上品な甘みにマカンボの香りが広がる、手が止まらなくなってしまうお菓子です。
マカンボは1100万年前にカカオと枝分かれした種類で、アマゾンにおいてはカカオに日陰を作るためのシェードツリーとしても活用されています。熟すと自然と果実が落ちてくるため、収穫期にはチャクラ農園を歩き回って落ちてきたマカンボを拾って、ナイフで果肉を剥いで中の種を乾燥させます。
アリバカカオ、マカンボ、アマゾンバニラ（ミルクチョコに入っています）の3つのエクアドルアマゾンの原材料で、森の循環と森の恵みを感じていただければ嬉しいです。
