Notice of "Fine Aroma Cacao" Exhibition
We will hold an event to know more about "Alibacao" which is the source of Mamano chocolate! Please look.
Overview
From February 25th to February 29th, we will co-sponsor the "Fine Aroma Cacao" exhibition with the Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador in Japan. This exhibition is a project to let Japanese people know the wonderfulness of Ecuador's fine aroma cacao. It is sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador in Japan and Mamano Chocolate with the cooperation of Minato Ward and the Minato Ward International Association.
Purpose of the event
Recent studies have found the earliest traces of humans eating cacao about 5300 years ago at the San Anna Florida archaeological site in Ecuador, South America.
Even now, more than 5,000 years later, Ecuador is still the source of the highest quality fine aroma cacao, producing the finest chocolates and delighting our tongue and heart.
At the exhibition, we will mainly introduce the history of cacao, cacao plantations, and the chocolate manufacturing process with photographs. The number of photographs on display is about 30.
A tasting event will also be held.
We hope you will come and visit us!
